For the second year running, we have been sponsoring owls at Prague Zoo.

Planting trees | May 15, 2004

The municipal forest in Oldřichov, Liberec region has over 111 fir trees. Sixty employees from Provident Financial s.r.o. planted trees with the help of the environmental association Suchopýr. Everyone who planted a tree donated two hundred crowns.

For several years, Provident Financial has supported environmental projects of not-for-profit organisations. We insist on meeting environmental standards and  attempt to promote and educate environmental protection. This April, we gave financial backing to the Jezírko forest school, which educates children and helps them to learn about life in the natural environment of a forest.

We bought three ponies for school children at the centre of environmental education in Oldřichov in Háje, Jizerské hory. This was done through our 'One Step Closer to Nature' program.
